Happy Turt Day

Pulled a solo mission this evening that was pretty uneventful. Two non-transmittered turts were sitting on the big basking log when I first got there and another one jumped in from the basking log under the willow before I got a look at it. Other than that it sounds like all of the turts are in the res. still. Saw a lot of heads swimming around, but it is hard to see the dots! Transmitter 6 is still kuput! Had a Western King bird dive-bombing the pond and catching insects near the water. When I was leaving I thought I might have heard a bull frog call, but if it was it only did it once. Also heard a couple of splashes from under the willow that may have been bullies. Keep you eyes open and your finger on the trigger if you are up there at night. No snakes today. That's all for now.
